ADVERTISEMENT NO.  03 / 2014.   Applications are invited for the following posts from Pakistani citizens of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa /F.A.T.A domicile by 13.06.2014 (candidates applying from abroad by 27.06.2014). Recruitment against the following posts shall be through competitive examination in accordance with the syllabus provided at the end of this advertisement.

SIXTEEN (16) POSTS OF TEHSILDAR  QUALIFICATION: - 2nd Class Graduations from any University Recognized by the HEC.   AGE LIMIT: 21 to 30 years. PAY SCALE:  BPS-16  ELIGIBILITY:     Both Sexes ALLOCATION:   Four to Merit, Three each to Zone-1 & Zone-2 and Two each to Zone-3,4 & Zone-.5

ONE (01) POST OF TEHSILDAR (MINORITY QUOTA)  QUALIFICATION: - 2nd Class Graduation from any University Recognized by the HEC.   AGE LIMIT: 21 to 30 years.   PAY SCALE:  BPS-16  ELIGIBILITY:   Both Sexes ALLOCATION:         Merit
 
GENERAL CONDITIONS
i)          Age shall be reckoned on 01/01/2014.There shall be a Competitive Examination for the posts of Tehsildar (BPS-16). The candidates are required to be academically qualified in all respects by 13.06.2014. Candidates not in possession of  the required qualification by the last date for receipt of application for inland candidates shall not be considered. Maximum age limit as prescribed in the recruitment rules shall be relaxed upto Ten years for Disable persons and  Govt. servants who have completed two years continuous service and upto 03 years for candidates belonging to backward areas specified in the appendix attached to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2008. However, a candidate shall be allowed relaxation in age in one of the above categories provided that the candidates from backward areas, in addition to automatic relaxation of three years shall be entitled to one of the relaxations available to govt. servants, general or disable candidates, whichever is relevant and applicable to them. Employees or Ex-employees of development projects of the govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and employees or Ex-employees of development projects of the federal govt. under the administrative control of the govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa shall also be entitled to age relaxation equal to the period served in the projects, subject to a maximum limit of ten years provided that this age relaxation shall not be available in conjunction with any other provisions of the age relaxation rules. ii)         Degrees / Experience Certificates / Testimonials of unrecognized institution are not accepted. Only original Degrees / Certificates are accepted, however, the candidates can apply on provisional certificate signed by the Controller of Examination of the respective institution. The candidates shall have to produce original degrees / certificates till last date of interviews. Detail Marks Certificates shall necessarily be required and these should be attached with the application forms. iii)        The candidates are required to apply on the prescribed application form obtainable from the listed below branches of the NATIONAL BANK. Only one application will be sufficient for the above posts, the candidates intending for different categories mentioned above should however indicate the categories/quotas in the application form.  The application Fee is Rs.285/- for all candidates. In addition to application fee, the candidates will have to pay Rs.15/- on account of Bank charges. Application form obtained other than the specified branches of the National Bank will be considered invalid and such applications will not be entertained. The application on plain paper or photostat shall not be accepted. Incomplete applications if not supported by requisite documents or late applications shall also be rejected. iv)       Candidates can also apply online through the Commission’s website (www.nwfppsc.gov.pk). However the application fee needs to be deposited in State Banks of Pakistan or a National Bank of Pakistan Branch under head of account No. C02101- Organs of State-Examination Fee of KP PSC through Challan on or before the closing date. The same alongwith attested copies of all the documents need to be submitted to the Commission within 10 days. v)        Applications must be submitted within stipulated time as no extra time is allowed for postal transit. Applications if posted on the last date must reach the Commission’s office by the closing hours. vi)       Applicants married to Foreigners are considered only on production of the Govt: Relaxation Orders. vii)      Employees of Govt:/ Semi-govt/ autonomous/ semi-autonomous bodies may apply directly but their departmental permission certificates shall reach the Commission Office within 30 days of the closing date. viii)     The Zonal and Merit Quotas shall be strictly followed in the allocation of seats. Government reserves the right to fill or not to fill any post. ix)       Candidates who have already availed three chances by physical appearance before the Commission and have failed for the post(s) having one and the same qualifications and scale of pay shall be ineligible.   The Government has prescribed the following syllabus for the competitive examination for the posts of Tehsildar (BPS-16) which can also be downloaded from the website of the Commission (www.kppsc.gov.pk)

SYLLABUS & STANDARD FOR COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION
FOR THE POSTS OF TEHSILDAR/NAIB TEHSILDAR
  1.                      The standard of the examination shall be the same as prescribed by the Universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Bachelor Degree.   2.                      A candidate may answer the papers in English or Urdu provided that special instructions will be given on the question paper where it is required to be answered in one specific language.   3.                      The examination shall comprise of the following subjects, carrying maximum marks as noted against each:

  4.                       Non-Muslim candidates will not be required to appear in the paper of Islamiyat. For such candidates the paper of Pakistan Studies will be of 200 marks instead of 100 marks.   5.                       No candidate shall be summoned for viva-voce test unless he has obtained at least 33% marks in each individual written paper and 50% marks in the aggregate. Failure, in or absence from viva-voce shall mean that the candidate has failed to qualify for appointment and his name will not be included in the merit list.   SPECIFIED BRANCHES OF THE NATIONALBANK OF PAKISTAN.
